Liam is an Artist who fell in love with the deeply healing and soul stirring sounds of ancient Flutes. As a multi-instrumentalist, he specialises in several flutes from around the world to a high competency, namely: the Indian Bansuri, Turkish/Arabic Ney, Japanese Shakuhachi, and Western Concert Flute. He created Licht Flutes to make available his unique creations of high quality, handcrafted Bansuri Flutes with an elegant and magic touch. This work serves as a creative and artistic process, which is ever evolving with every piece of bamboo. Licht Flutes also allows Liam to serve other musicians by crafting custom instruments for them, which will enable them to create wonderful sounds, and to finally play a truly professional quality bamboo flute.  He is a student of western classical music, who uniquely, has also explored hindustani classical music and turkish sufi music, which shape his unique palette of sounds. He is a black belt in the martial art of shotokan Karate, and in the process of studying the craft of wooden concert flutes. He is a researcher, flute teacher, luthier, and professional performer, driven by curiosity and a strong desire of self-refinement.
