About Us

Liam is an Artist who fell in love with the deeply healing and soul stirring sounds of ancient Flutes. His favourite flute is the Reed Flute (Ney), and the Bansuri and Shakuhachi are also well liked by him. He created Licht Flutes to make available his unique creations of High Quality Bansuri Flutes with an elegant and magic touch. This work serves as a creative and artistic process, which is ever evolving and new with every piece of bamboo. Licht Flutes also allows Liam to serve other musicians by creating very special instruments for them, which will enable them to create wonderful sounds.  Apart from spending time designing, crafting, contemplating, practicing, and sometimes being lazy, he also composes music, performs, and gives lessons in the Ney/Bansuri Flute. He also practices the Martial Art of Karate, amongst other pursuits. He is very open to explore the richness of sound to create an uplifting and entrancing effect in both player and listener, and so any musicians and artists are free to contact him for collaboration and projects.
